Recently, a tendencyhasbeenobservabletowardsthegradualintroductionofchangesnotonlyto
the provisions of the Commercial CompaniesCode, butalsotothoseregulatingtheso-calledlegal
environment of entrepreneurs. One manifestation of this phenomenon is the governmental draft
Act amending the Act on the National Court Register and certain other acts. The purpose of
this article is to identify the proposed changes and to analyse the premises for their introduction,
taking into account the criterion of legislative legitimacy. The current regulations concerning
the register of associations are also presented.
