About the Journal Journal of Social Economy Law (JSEL) was funded by the publishing house of Cooperative Reserach Institute for the purpose of developig studies on legal aspects of the sociale economy and social enterprises. Due to longtime connection of the cooperative movement the publisher and the editors decided to contribute to growing tendencies of the social economy. We realise that this is significantly important in the Central and Eastern Europe. It is also highly relevant at the time of the twin trasition as social enetrprises can be the factors of green and digital transformation due to thier innovative character. JSEL publishes articles on legal aspects of the social economy and social enterprises and case studies related to these topics. The editors and the programme council of the journal consists of specialists in the legal theory and philosophy as well as of dogmatics of law, associated with Polish and foreign universities and research centers. The Program Council of the journal brings together members from Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. Subjects of Accepted Texts JSEL aims to be a forum for the exchange of views on the legal implementations of the theory of the social economy and the social enterprises.The Editorial Team prefers innovative and critical texts. The journal publishes articles and commentaries on case law. The journal accepts texts related to the topics of the social economy and social enterprises from the fields of theory, philosophy and sociology of law, dogmatics of law, comparative law, legal history and political and legal doctrines. JSEL accepts for publication commentaries on recent case law related to the social economy and social enterpirses. Publishing Cycle JSEL is a journal published every six months in the following cycle: June, December.Only one article by the same author may be published in the same year (this does not apply to co-authored texts). Open Journal System The editors of JSEL use the Open Journal System (OJS). The entire publishing process is done through OJS. Languages of Publication The articles are published in English. Open Access Policy JSEL has an open access policy. Published issues are available online under the Archive tab.
